Have we seen the end of art and craft shows?

With the slowdown in the economy, it seems that almost everyone has suffered. Of course, fewer people are spending money to avoid a greater debt. This means that, for the people who depend on consumers for their livelihood, his business has been hurt. This can be seen in most big way in the form of festivals and art fairs. Fewer people are willing to spend money on these festivals. The result less customers and less suppliers. We are left with the question. Is art dead festivals? Have we seen the end of these programs?

There was a time when craft show reigned supreme with hundreds if not thousands of clients viewing the exhibition of works of art made by hand of all kinds. However, now, more and more suppliers determine is not only worthy of your time or money. What happened? Of course, economics is partially guilty, but that's not all.

Many people saw the ship show how quick and easy to make money. They simply wanted to offer their artwork and return home with a box full of money in cash. However, in view of the economic downturn, vendors and artists must recognize the need for more work and draw in customers. Providers who are not willing to put in the work could also accept the death of art festivals. However, this should not be the answer.

On the other hand, if each artist or provider is presented even a small amount of effort to offer new and interesting or even only time options, may draw people in. The key to win and keep new customers is to offer something different. If this means offer a limited edition of a work of art or means to offer something new as a live painting lessons, offering something new is the perfect way to introduce new customers to increase the attendance of all art festivals.

Is art dead festivals? The answer is no. However, the answer could easily change if artists and suppliers do not recognize the need to begin work. To keep the sample of art and festivals, it is vital to help customers see the past of its budget. Each provider can be a bit of work so well for the festival in general. If each of 50 suppliers to do so, the results could be amazing, and festivals of art may be living once again.

Lamps of Arts and crafts and Art Nouveau history

The craft was started in England during the late 1800s. Clean simple designs and crafts aspects of nature that were the main features of this period of design. This new movement was in direct contrast with the mass production of products which was made possible by the industrial revolution. This new art (Art Nouveau in French) was also a relief of lavishly ornate designs of the Victorian era which preceded in many ways.

The industrial revolution has dehumanized in the manufacturing process, especially that refers to home decor products. He broke the process of working in several components by processes referred to as the "Division of labour". Workers could work on only one part of a complete product. The arts and Crafts movement was a refutation of this process dehumanizing referred specifically to the human element of a person who creates a complete product from beginning to end.

Architect Augustus Pugin (1812-1852) was one of the first leaders openly against the dehumanizing aspect of the industrial revolution. This was followed by other proponents of these ideas: John Ruskin (1819-1900), William Morris (1834-1896) and Phillip Webb. Morris was the most popular name associated with this movement.

This new style of art spread all over Europe and was appointed Art Nouveau (new art) by the French. Each country and each region had their own styles and variations of this new art movement.

During the late 19th century, America was basically import designs of artistic furniture and home to England and Europe. Colonial and shaker designs were the only truly American styles at that time. Get the children interested in arts and crafts

Most children love to do crafts from the moment in which enter it. I remember in preschool and was favorite thing in the world to do. Well what do when his son wants nothing to do with it? I will give some suggestions.

In the first place you should look at the things that has already tried to. Most children start with paper and crayons. There are so many different things to explore art, perhaps only has not found what you click for his son.

One thing you can do is go to an art store (takes his son with you). Allow your child to go around the store and should take some mental notes in what seems to spike there is interest. If there is a store of art near wal-mart has a section of the ship. I did it with my daughters and I found that my older daughter likes to sew and you would like to be a fashion designer.

Another thing to do is go to the library and remove some books and crafts for children. These books have many different ideas in them. Let the children Cross and mark those who want to try.

When you are ready to begin the craft with them is fun. Set up a night that is going to do so can make sure of has everything you need. I do not want to be ready to do so and find that it does not have all their supplies. We have a day set aside each week. My kids call it fun family causes day also play or go for a walk.

I have children of different ages sometimes conclude by making two or three different offices. Your hard disk to find a project that everyone wants to be at the same time.
Once their children are carried out with the project proudly display their works of art. Mine keep in the refrigerator or hanging for about a week or two and then, I have a special box that all of them for keeps.

Children feel so good when they do something that he loves someone else. If you don't want to forever keep projects or accumulates too many children have then taken to a nursing home. Old love getting things, and children will love giving to them.

These are just some of the ways to arouse their interest. I am sure, you can now use your imagination and think of other ways.

Need a quick Moneymaker? Selling your crafts in 3 easy steps

How to sell your crafts and home banking serious money. Doing enough to pay their bills and then some. He personally sold more than 400 pieces of my Office during a holiday season and they have followed do very well. My profession is theme of Christmas, but they also sell any time of the year. The reason that sold so well is because they have the following components: they are smart, they are quality, they are beautiful and everyone wants to have one.

Here is how to make serious cash with their arts and crafts in 3 easy steps:

Step 1: Develop his talent. What you do? Easy craft? Difficult? Try things different and specialized in your area of interest for the success of an element. I've known people making a mint with crochet Afghans, handmade jewelry and clothing even. Any ship that the degree.

Step 2: Make the quality of their work. Don't settle for lower supplies, but rather get smart about the different ways to obtain supplies of quality, in other words, sales in the ship store items sold by a frustrated artist, sales of yard, etc. All you have to do is do it better than anyone else.

Step 3: Be proud of your boat and not be afraid to say so. When I started to make lighted Christmas glass blocks, had glass blocks throughout the world. They dominated my house and my life, even my place of work. I was showing them at work, and even took in places with me (the shopping centre, restaurants, shops, etc.). People arrived me everywhere I was wondering where I have from. What great incoming conversation and what a great moneymaker. I have sold many crafts sitting at a restaurant table. Remember to be accessible with a big and warm smile.

I was also lucky to have several sources to sell the ship. Became a corporate gift for the holidays, and a star was born as sales left the roof. He had a friend who paid for the business school for souvenirs Butterfly magnets to put in the fridge. They were fast and easy to make, were beautiful and quality, and everyone wanted to.

There are many resources available to teach about what your favorite craft sale. If you want to learn more deeply about how I sold mine, I've created an e-book that shows step by step what to do.

Show your art and crafts in restaurants

If your business is the sale of handicrafts, you know that you have to be creative in finding ways for their popular products.

One way is to have their craft on display in local restaurants that use yourself.

Depending on the shape and size of their arts and crafts, this can be a very lucrative experiment! Be sure to use a nice restaurant to yourself to make sure that it is not really a fast pace, as you are that you people are persistent over a good meal to notice and appreciate art that is can hang on the wall by its Bureau, or the decorative shelf their crafts in a corner of the House.

Start yourself having dinner with a friend or relative in this particular restaurant you like and to eat and rest, try and take a look at the walls or corners, where his creations would be great.

Choose the best pieces good taste, which you feel would be according to the restaurant and then approaching the owner during the day when it is likely to be there the day of planning and talk to him about the idea of hanging their art (show owner his pieces) perhaps give him some idea of where you were thinking you must go to take the assumptions of the equation, and that the owner feels like its not another project has to deal with!

Come upstairs with an agreement, which gets a percentage of the sale, and then make sure you give him your business cards and brochures and there is a business card with the price of the piece with the piece. Do not place a great great read "on sale" sign in the piece!, need something subtle and tasteful, possibly in the lower right corner of the piece. If you have 3D creations that should be on a shelf, make sure that your card is connected to the price clearly written on the back or written en.

This is another great way that you and your business in the community and is a great way to get people to look at and appreciate and we hope to buy their creations!
